The Green Harbors Project is proud to collaborate with the Zadar University in Croatia. During her Fulbright Scholarship at Zadar University, Dr. Anamarija Frankic initiated the first Biomimicry LivingLabs in Zadar Harbor in March 2014. Dr. Frankic and Dr. Claudia Kruschel, engaged 55 students in a wide range of environmental projects from assessing local biodiviersity, local water quality, urban harbor planning, ecology, mariculture and polyculture in Zadar area and archipelago. Students' projects were publically presented and featured in the media as a successful approach in addressing local community issues with potential solutions based on biomimicry.
